Mansfield Property Maintenance were approached by the management to provide some cost effective options to help drive the business forward and to keep this nightclub at the forefront of Dartford’s late night scene. After several meetings and several discussions with the management, it was put forward that the club change its name from Crush nightclub and redevelop a new brand within the town that was more relevant with its patrons.

Industry was created, with the emphasis on the materials used and the influence of steampunk in the design, Rhys Smith alongside LBF architects were able to put together a design that not only reflected the beauty of the listed building but also gave a new more open and vibrant place for people to go in Dartford. With the use of filament light bulbs, reclaimed materials and brick slips the venue was made to feel warmer and more welcoming.

The entire project was able to be turned around with 10 days and thus minimising any loss of trade to the company. The opening night was a huge success and we wish Industry all the best and every success in the future.
